Responsibilities
As a AR Accountant you will be responsible for allocating incoming cash from Parker Hannifin’s customers to open invoices on AR ledger, performing month end close activities, timely resolving queries and variances while providing high quality internal customer service. What are your responsibilities?• Allocate payments to open invoices in the accounts receivable subledger and post transactions to appropriate accounts.• Retrieve and process bank statements; reconcile bank accounts with ledgers.• Analyze account variances and resolve receivables-related issues.• Identify transactions belonging to other departments and coordinate proper allocation with relevant teams.• Ensure compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures.• Perform month-end close activities, including tasks in BlackLine.• Manage team mailbox correspondence.• Prepare posting documentation and monthly/weekly reports.• Seek process improvements to increase efficiency.• Support team members and assist in onboarding new employees.
What makes you a good fit for this role?• Secondary vocational or higher education (accounting, finance, economics) or other.• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.• English proficiency at least B1.• Ability to efficiently process large volumes of information.• Ability to work under tight operational deadlines and manage multiple tasks/priorities.• High accuracy and attention to detail.• Strong communication skills and teamworking ability.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
