* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
* Hands-on experience with Develop Software Test Plans
* Working knowledge on how to develop Software Test Procedures
* Create automated requirements-based (Tier 4 and T5) software tests
* Develop automated software test infrastructure tailored to each LRU (MACU, DAMU, ANP-R, MAGU)
* Write requirements-based test scripts
* Develop automated unit test infrastructure in compliance with the Software Test Plan
* Support the creation and execution of automated unit testing environments that enable collection of regression test artifacts Preferred Skills
* ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required Job Duties & Functions
* Design, develop, test, and maintain safety-critical embedded software throughout the product lifecycle
* Translate customer and system requirements into robust, testable software architectures and detailed designs
* Implement and optimize software components and algorithms to support system integration and performance objectives
* Create and maintain requirements traceability documentation, design descriptions, test plans, and release notes
* Lead verification and validation activities, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing
* Produce certification evidence and safety artifacts to support regulatory and compliance requirements
* Debug software defects and resolve field issues to improve reliability and availability
* Respond to user inquiries and technical support requests while incorporating feedback into software improvements
* Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes to maintain current software processes
* Establish and monitor development processes, toolchains, and key performance indicators
* Execute research and development projects and feasibility studies
* Provide domain expertise related to software architecture, safety analyses, compliance, and lifecycle practices
* Track project schedules, manage risks, and support resource planning activities
* Coordinate with software suppliers and partners by defining requirements, evaluating deliverables, and monitoring performance
* Verify product and process compliance with project plans and industry standards Physical Requirements & Environment
