Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK in Bridgeport, WV.

Responsibilities:
As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will be required to:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips
Unload trucks and ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies, etc.) for pickups and deliveries
Maintain accurate records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions
Enter data into inventory and shipping systems (ERP or warehouse management systems)
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
Ability to read shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move materials (often up to 25–50 lbs)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
