Location: RAF Marham
Contract: 20 months
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 37 hours per week
Rate: 28.11 Umbrella / 21 PAYE

You’ll be part of a close-knit, capable crew carrying out metal repair and corrosion control on advanced aircraft structures. The setting is modern, methodical, and well-supported — somewhere you can settle in, sharpen your skills, and stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out metalworking and corrosion remediation on aircraft structures
- Perform repairs in line with approved technical data and documentation
- Prepare metal and composite surfaces for repair
- Conduct drilling, honing, and reaming activities
- Remove and install fasteners and structural components
- Apply adhesive bonding techniques where required
- Maintain compliance with all maintenance procedures and safety standards
- Support a multi-skilled team within a structured maintenance environment
Requirements
- Experience with manual and pneumatic tooling
- Background in structural repair, including metal and/or composite prep
- Experience with drilling, honing, and reaming processes
- Confident removing/installing a range of fasteners
- Familiarity with adhesive bonding applications
- Able to work from approved maintenance data and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications:
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Aeronautical preferred) or military equivalent
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Accepted: City & Guilds, IMI, Edexcel, EAL, SEMTA, ATA (or equivalent)
- Equivalent experience considered with supporting evidence
