Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Aviation Management can also be suitable.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing cargo operations within the cargo, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Candidates should have a demonstrated history of coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and liaising effectively with freight forwarders and ground handling agents.
Desired
- 8+ years in the aviation industry, particularly within airline cargo operations, is highly advantageous.
- Experience in operations supervision, team leadership, and cargo management is highly beneficial. Ideal candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using cargo management software and technological tools, with a proven track record in managing teams or projects that enhance operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology integration in cargo operations
