Position Summary

Supports the development and management of information technology systems or services, assists business unit implementation of such systems and services. 

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains IT systems and services

• Maintains systems effective and efficient

• Creates standards for IT systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability 

• Coordinates with cross functional teams to gather business and technical requirements.

• Ensures compliance with cybersecurity policies, data protection standards and regulatory requirements. 

• Develops and maintains technical documentation, procedures and user guides. 

• Establishes and tracks IT KPIs to ensure service quality 

• Promotes automation and process improvement to increase operational efficiency

• Provides technical leadership and monitor junior IT staff

• Provides training materials and education to users of these systems

• Identifies opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve business processes

• Ensures ethical use of AI and compliance with data privacy

• Provides information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems

• Directs the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of IT capabilities. 

• Identifies deficiencies in IT systems and recommends solutions/improvements 

• Provides information to management identifying personnel, hardware and software needs to provide appropriate levels of systems and services. 

• This position may be assigned to the following key information technology disciplines and services:

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in Computational Systems or similar

• Advanced English proficiency (required).

• 4 years of experience in Management role

• 6 – 8 years in IT positions
