Position Summary

Brothers Air Support is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Fuel Truck Driver to join our aviation operations team. This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of aviation fuel, as well as directly fueling helicopters in accordance with all FAA, DOT, and company safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and has prior experience fueling helicopters in an aviation environment.

The position will require travel, as the position is to support a USFS contract that requires employees to be in the field. 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and transport fuel using a Class A fuel truck. (Manual Truck)
• Fuel helicopters accurately and efficiently following proper grounding, bonding, and fuel quality control procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of fuel trucks and equipment.
• Perform daily fuel quality testing, including sump checks and documentation.
• Maintain accurate fuel delivery records and inventory logs.
• Ensure compliance with all FAA, DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
• Coordinate with flight crews and ground personnel to ensure timely fueling operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of fueling equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to after-hours or emergency fueling needs as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Proven experience fueling helicopters in an aviation setting.
• Knowledge of aviation fuel handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Previous experience working at an FBO or aviation support operation.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft ground support operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders as needed.
• Comfortable working around active aircraft and loud environments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
