Job Summary:
The Operations EHS Professional is responsible for a wide variety of EHS activities in the various production and maintenance departments. Position will assist in providing a safe work place for employees and contractors by assessing risk, identifying countermeasures, developing sustainable management systems, providing training, monitoring processes and metrics
In this role, you will:
- Develop a wide-range of comprehensive EHS systems that support Arconics commitment of zero environmental non-compliances and an injury-free workplace.
- Audit and coach compliance to Arconic Self Assessment Tools, ISO14001, and other EHS regulatory and compliance programs.
- Monitor, track and report key EHS Metrics
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist with accident/ incident investigations to ensure root cause analysis and identification.
- Develop and tracking of corrective actions, acts as a change agent for the area.
- Support departmental changes as EHS resources on all ABS events.
- Participate in the development of a HOSHIN for EHS, directly brining forward specific opportunities in their assigned area.
- Assist with the development of A3 problem solving tools & report progress through EHS sub team every 90 days, and at quarterly Hoshin reviews.
- Coach the Teams and EHS Star Points to recognize that accident and injury prevention are core values in the organization and will not be sacrificed for production, quality, delivery, recovery, cost control.
- Will ensure full utilization of Arconic Human Performance (HP), by coaching all operation teams.

- This position reports to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager with dotted line accountability to the Operations Manager
You have: (required)
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering Degree, Industrial Safety Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment
