This role focuses on installing and sewing high-quality interiors for business aircraft, including King Air, Hawker, Citation, Beechjet, and Lear Jet models. You will create your own patterns and perform precision sewing work exclusively within an aviation environment to ensure cabin components meet strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install interior components on business aircraft, including King Air, Hawker, Citation, Beechjet, and Lear Jet models.
• Create and develop your own patterns for aircraft interior components such as seats, sidewalls, panels, and other soft goods.
• Perform precision sewing for aircraft interiors, ensuring high quality, durability, and adherence to aviation standards.
• Fit, adjust, and finish interior materials to match aircraft specifications and design requirements.
• Collaborate with other interior and maintenance team members to complete installations efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and proper fit before interior components are installed in the aircraft.
• Follow all hangar, safety, and tooling procedures while working in and around aircraft.

• Minimum of 2 years of aircraft interiors experience.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft interior installation and maintenance.
• Ability to create and make your own patterns for aircraft interior components.
• Strong sewing skills specifically within an aviation environment.
• Experience working on King Air, Citation, Hawker, Beechjet, and/or Lear Jet aircraft interiors.
• Ability to work any shift as required by operational needs.

• Previous experience in a business aviation or corporate aviation hangar environment.
• Familiarity with the interior layouts and materials used in King Air, Citation, Hawker, Beechjet, and Lear Jet aircraft.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality interior finishes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and other interior specialists in a hangar setting.

Work Environment

You will work in a business aviation hangar located at the Smyrna, TN airport, just outside of Nashville. The environment centers around business aircraft such as King Air, Hawker, Citation, Beechjet, and Lear Jet, with active maintenance and interior work taking place on the hangar floor. The role requires flexibility to work any shift as operational needs change. You will work in and around aircraft, using standard interior and sewing tools and equipment in a professional hangar setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, TN.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr.
